At Muddy Roots Forest School our mission is to help children grow in confidence, creativity, and character through hands-on learning in nature. Rooted in the Forest School philosophy and shaped by Christian values, we create a space where kids can explore freely, take healthy risks, and build meaningful connections with each other, with the natural world, and with the values that shape a strong foundation for life.
We believe outdoor learning builds resilience, encourages curiosity, and supports the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. At Muddy Roots, we’re passionate about letting kids be kids, discovering who they are and how they fit into a bigger story.
School year
We offer Forest School as a homeschool enrichment program, partnering with families to encourage children to grow, explore, and engage with nature in new and meaningful ways.
AGES: 4-9 yo
DAYS: Monday – Thursday
HOURS: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Flexible Enrollment: Campers can enroll in any combination of days (Monday through Thursday) or come for the full 4-day experience!
Enrollment dates:
February 1-14: Priority Enrollment for Current Families
February 15: Open Enrollment begins for remaining spots. Families who have completed a tour or phone call will receive an enrollment email directly.

Enrollment in our school-year program is by invitation only. We want to ensure that Muddy Roots is the right fit for your child and family. To begin the process, we ask that you first schedule a phone call or tour with us. Once that’s complete, we’ll send you a direct link to enroll.
This approach helps us build a strong, intentional community that aligns with our values and supports every child’s success.
Summer Camp
Get ready for a week of nature-filled fun at Muddy Roots Summer Camp! Camp runs Monday–Friday, 9:00–2:30, and is open to children ages 4–10. Kids will explore the forest, create nature crafts, play outdoors, and enjoy plenty of muddy, sun-soaked adventures.
Cost: $300 per week
Registration opens February 1st, and you may register directly, no tour needed.
