Enrollment in our school-year program is by invitation only. We want to ensure that Muddy Roots is the right fit for your child and family. To begin the process, we ask that you first schedule a phone call or tour with us. Once that’s complete, we’ll send you a direct link to enroll.
This approach helps us build a strong, intentional community that aligns with our values and supports every child’s success.
If your preferred days are currently full, your child will be placed on our waitlist. There is often movement as the school year approaches, and waitlist spots do open up. When a space becomes available, families will be contacted and asked to respond within 48 hours to begin a conversation and claim the spot.
We encourage families who feel aligned with Muddy Roots to apply when ready, as availability can shift throughout the year.
School year
Muddy Roots Forest School is a nature-based homeschool enrichment program in Thompson's Station, Tennessee. Children spend their days learning, playing, exploring, and growing together in the great outdoors.
AGES: 4-9 yo
DAYS: Monday – Thursday
HOURS: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Flexible Enrollment: Campers can enroll in any combination of days (Monday through Thursday) or come for the full 4-day experience!
Summer Camp
Get ready for a week of nature-filled fun at Muddy Roots Summer Camp! Camp runs Monday–Friday, 9:00–2:30, and is open to children ages 4–10. Kids will explore the forest, create nature crafts, play outdoors, and enjoy plenty of muddy, sun-soaked adventures.
Cost: $300 per week
Registration opens February 1st, and you may register directly, no tour needed.
Dates: Check back in January for 2027 dates!
